Over the last few years I've written numerous articles for publication in traditional print and online publications. Some of this writing I've found enjoyable and helpful as I am continually developing my written voice. I've also learned that my natural writing style runs in the 500 to 800 word range.
It's no surprise then, that one publication was very stressful with a target word count of 300. Maybe there are great writers out there who can write a book in 300 words, but I can't. More important is valuing my time such that I'm happy with the results personally and from an ROI perspective.
